Jennifer Lawton, pictured in the post below creates oil paintings based on photographs she takes to emphasize "up close and personal" aspects of people and objects. Her paintings explore the ability of light to reflect and refract, creating both enhanced and representational images. Jennifer enhances some details and sublimates others to create a "story" in the painting. See her work up close and personal at the Nov. 7-9 Art Show at the Ivy Lea Club near Rockport, Ontario.
